Updating 360 firmware
Just download the file, that's all you need to do there.
NOTE: Microsoft stopped updating their backwards compatibility for original Xbox games years ago.
Here is the page where I found out how to make it work. If you have a writable CD a thumb drive, use the thumb drive, because it's much easier.
Stuff you'll need: Xbox 360 Computer USB thumb drive (recommended) OR writable CD and CD writer Zip file extractor, I use [77-Zip] First of all, you'll need the update file. displaylang=en&Family ID=d7b1a7d8-846b-4ff4-8810-25356ec2c2aa DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THAT PAGE! If they did, I probably wouldn't have bothered to write this instructable.
If you're one of the growing number of folks getting into 360-degree photography and you're rocking an LG 360 CAM, know this: There's a hefty firmware update awaiting you. Plug in your camera, head over to the "Software update" section, and let it do its thing. But since there's no on-phone update mechanism or anything, I hadn't bothered to check.

I don't have Xbox Live (which you would usually use), so I decided to update it by downloading the update from and putting it on a CD, and then putting that CD in my Xbox 360.
- Minor bug fixes and improvements If you cannot connect your Xbox 360 console to the Internet, you can copy the console update from your computer to a USB flash drive and then install it on the console.
The USB flash drive must use the FAT32 file system.
